Romualdas Rakauskas

Romualdas Rakauskas “Blooming” series.  Taken in Lithuanian springtime fields between 1974–1984,these photographs remind me so much of my grandma. 

Romualdas Rakauskas was born in Akmenė, Lithuania on August 9, 1941. He studied journalism at Vilnius University from 1959 to 1962. The photographer worked as a photo correspondent for the newspaper Literatūra ir Menas in 1961-63, for the magazine Mūsų Gamta in 1963-67. From 1967 he worked as the editor of illustrations department of the magazine Nemunas. Romualdas Rakauskas is a member of the Lithuanian Union of Art Photographers (from 1970) and a member of the Federation of International Art Photography (FIAP) from 1976. -source and here
